BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

Heat treatment consists in uniform heating of wood to a high temperature in an oxygen-free environment, followed by cooling to room temperature. At the same time, a number of complex chemical and physico-chemical processes occur in the tree, leading to a significant improvement in the operational qualities of wood without the use of any chemical reagents.

The installation for heat treatment of wood was created on the basis of a 12-meter sea container. The one-time loading of the installation is 6 M3 of dried wood. The total weight of the installation kit, including spare parts and accessories, is about 17 tons.

Heating is carried out by electric heaters. The full cycle of wood processing takes 24 hours. The power consumption is 1-1.2 MW* hour per cycle.
